This blog will document the ass-backward and irrational people, places, and things that I encounter in my daily navigation of life as a queer, black woman (and part-time college student, part-time substitute teacher) in a small Southern city. I will try to make light of the sometimes sad, sometimes angry-making situations that arise from institutionalized racism, sexism, classism, and all those other -isms.
